RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2023/24 CDBG INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM
(N RUSSELL AVE - N 2ND ST TO N 4TH ST)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for
the 2023/24 CDBG Infrastructure Program (N Russell Ave - N 2nd St to N 4th St) for the
City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated the 22nd day of April, 2025, by
and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and Iowa Water & Waste Systems, of Boone, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2023/24 CDBG Infrastructure Program (N
Russell Ave - N 2nd St to N 4th St) has been fully completed by the Contractor
in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and
approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $377,690.15.
Section 3. The amount due to Iowa Water & Waste Systems, of Boone, Iowa,
is hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 14th day of October, 2025.
