RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR THE
2025/26 ASPHALT STREET PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM
FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 9th day of July 2025, for
Design and Development Services for the 2025/26 Asphalt Street Pavement
Improvements program for the Public Works Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids
have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
Professional Services Agreement with HR Green, of Cedar Rapids, IA, for
the 2025/26 Asphalt Street Pavement Improvements program in an amount
not to exceed $302,000.
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 14th day of October, 2025.
