RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
YEAR TWO OF THE FIVE-YEAR LIME SLUDGE DISPOSAL CONTRACT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Water and Pollution Control Department has filed a certificate of
completion for the Year Two of the five-year Lime Sludge Disposal Contract for the City
of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated 25th day of April, 2023, by and
between the City of Ames, Iowa, and Wulfekuhle Injection and Pumping of Peosta, IA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Year Two of the five-year Lime Sludge
Disposal Contract has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance
with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $504,952.30.
Section 3. The amount due to Wulfekuhle Injection and Pumping of Peosta,
IA, is hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of August, 2025.
