RESOLUTION AWARDING SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE
OF WATER METERS AND RELATED ACCESSORIES SUPPLY
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the waiver of City purchasing policies and procedure requirements for
competitive bidding to award a single source contact was approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
Badger Meter, Milwaukee, WI, to purchase water meters and related
accessories for the one-year period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026,
in an amount not-to-exceed $249,509.
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
