RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
YEAR THREE OF THE FIVE-YEAR
WATER PLANT WELL REHABILITATION CONTACT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Water and Pollution Control Department has filed a certificate of
completion for Year Three of the five-year Water Plant Well Rehabilitation Contract for
the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated the 14th day of June, 2022,
by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and Northway Well and Pump Company, of
Waukee, IA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Year Three of the five-year Water Plant
Well Rehabilitation Contract has been fully completed by the Contractor in
accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and
approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $145,446.04.
Section 3. The amount due to Northway Well and Pump Company, of Waukee,
IA, is hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of August, 2025.
