RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2020/21 ARTERIAL PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS E 13TH ST
(DUFF AVE TO MEADOWLANE AVE)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for
the 2020/21 Arterial Pavement Improvements E 13th St (Duff Ave to Meadowlane Ave)
for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated the 25th day of May, 2021,
by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and Con-Struct, Inc of Ames, IA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2020/21 Arterial Pavement Improvements
E 13th St (Duff Ave to Meadowlane Ave) has been fully completed by the
Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted
and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $2,878,865.03.
Section 3. The amount due to Con-Struct, Inc of Ames, IA, is hereby ordered
paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
