RESOLUTION APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR ENGINEERING AND DESIGN
FOR THE 2025/26 CONCRETE STREET PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM
FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 9th day of July, 2025, for the
Professional Services Agreement for Engineering and Design for the 2025/26 Concrete
Street Pavement Improvements Program for the Public Works Department, City of Ames,
Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
WHKS of Ames, IA, for the 2025/26 Concrete Street Pavement
Improvements Program in an amount not to exceed $321,000.
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 12th day of August, 2025.
