RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF NEW OFFICE FURNITURE
FOR THE WATER & POLLUTION CONTROL DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 22nd day of July, 2025, for
the procurement of new office furniture for the Water and Pollution Control Department,
City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
Workspace, Inc. (Iowa Office Interiors), of Ames, Iowa , in the amount of
$156,703.99 for new office furniture for Water & Pollution Control.
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 12th day of August, 2025.
