RESOLUTION APPROVING COMMISSION ON THE ARTS (COTA) FALL 2025
SPECIAL PROJECT GRANT CONTRACTS
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, on June 2, 2025, the Commission on the Arts (COTA) finalized its
recommendations for Fall 2025 Special Project Grants. Three grant requests were
received totaling $2,500. COTA has $9,562 in funding available for Fall 2025 and Spring
2026 Special Project grants. The requests and COTA's recommendations are described
in the table below:

TOTAL $2,500 $2,300
WHEREAS, Special Project Grants help advance participation in and awareness
of the arts in the Ames community, which is a key goal of the Commission on the Arts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the Commission on the Arts (COTA) Fall 2025 Special Project Grant contracts
are hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 12th day of August, 2025.
