RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR FY 2026 STANDARD DIESEL WITH BIODIESEL BLEND FUEL PURCHASES
FOR THE TRANSIT DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 1st day of July, 2025, for the
FY 2026 Standard Diesel with Biodiesel Blend Fuel Purchases for the Transit
Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
Petroleum Traders Corporation of Fort Wayne, Indiana, for standard diesel
with biodiesel blend fuel from July 1, 2025, until June 30, 2026, at a not-to-
exceed amount of $1,260,000.
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 22nd day of July, 2025.
