OF THE AMES CITY COUNCIL
AMES, IOWA DECEMBER 20, 1991
The Ames City Council met in special session at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 20, 1991, in the
City Council Chambers of the City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, pursuant to law with Mayor Pro Tem
Parks presiding and the following Council Members present: Brown, Campbell, Hertz, and Wirth.
Mayor Curtis and Council Member Hoffman were absent.
WOI-TV BANQUET: Moved by Campbell, seconded by Brown, to approve a request from WOI-
TV to allow underage people on the premises of Hunky Dory's on Friday, December 20, 1991,
between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. for the purpose of participating in a banquet during which
alcohol will be served.
Vote on Motion: 5-0. Motion declared carried unanimously.
THE PLUMBERY BANQUET: Moved by Campbell, seconded by Brown, to approve a request
from The Plumbery to allow underage people on the premises of Hunky Dory's on Saturday,
December 21, 1991, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. for the purpose of participating in a
banquet during which alcohol will be served.
Vote on Motion: 5-0. Motion declared carried unanimously.
COMMENTS: There were no comments.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 12:03 p.m.
