HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Special Meeting of the Ames City Council 11/01/1995OFFICIAL MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE AMES CITY COUNCIL AMES, IOWA NOVEMBER 1, 1995 The Ames City Council met in special session at 12:15 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, pursuant to law with Mayor Larry Curtis presiding and the following Council members present: Campbell, Hoffman, Tedesco, and Wirth. AMENDMENT TO DEVELOPERS AGREEMENT FOR IMPROVEMENTS PERTAINING TO BROOKVIEW SUBDIVISION: Motion by Campbell, Second by Hoffman, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 95-485 approving amendment to Developers Agreement for Ontario Street Improvements pertaining to Brookview Subdivision. Roll Call Vote: 4-0. Resolution declared adopted unanimously, signed by the Mayor, and hereby made a portion of these minutes. Motion by Campbell, Second by Hoffman, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 95-486 approving agreement with Story County granting authorization for construction. Roll Call Vote: 4-0. Resolution declared adopted unanimously, signed by the Mayor, and hereby made a portion of these minutes. RIGHT-OF-ENTRY AGREEMENT WITH UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD FOR MINNESOTA AVENUE BRIDGE MODIFICATIONS: Motion by Wirth, Second by Campbell, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 95-487 authorizing execution of Union Pacific Railroad right-of-entry agreement and designating the Mayor as the duly authorized representative of the City of Ames to sign the agreement. Roll Call Vote: 4-0. Resolution declared adopted unanimously, signed by the Mayor, and hereby made a portion of these minutes.
