OF THE AMES CITY COUNCIL
AMES, IOWA JULY 26, 1995
The Ames City Council met in special session with the Story County Board of Supervisors and
members of the Story County Planning and Zoning Commission at 10:07 a.m. on the 26th day of
July, 1995, in Conference Room 235 in City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, pursuant to law with Mayor
Pro Tem John Parks presiding and the following Council Members present: Campbell, Hoffman,
Parks, and Tedesco. Present from the Story County Board of Supervisors were Halliburton, Larson,
and Mathison. Present from the Story County Planning and Zoning Commission were Laurie Henry,
Scott Renaud, Larry Johnson, and Janet Collings. Staff members present were Story County
Planning and Zoning Director Les Beck, City of Ames Planning and Housing Director Brian
O'Connell, Assistant City Manager Bob Kindred, and City Clerk Sandra Ryan.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss urban fringe development. No action was taken at this
meeting.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 11:35 a.m.
