I. Call to order: 1737 (Hauswirth)
II. Consent Agenda: Motion to approve by Reutter/Rowland. Unanimous.
a. Present: Rowland, Kumar, Rogowski, Lindsley, Reutter, Stromberg-Murphy,
Hauswirth, Merchant, Kedrowski
III. Commission Committee
a. Outreach
i. Contacted the two chosen artists for the neighborhood art (“Clean-Up
Crew” and “Snow”) and have agreed on a purchase price
b. Public Relations
i. No updates this month
c. Collection Management
i. Rowland reached out to the city and has gotten a public art catalog
1. Stromberg-Murphy has organized the catalog into
deaccessioned pieces, pieces that have been found, and
pieces that we have not checked on yet
2. Stromberg-Murphy will send out the new pieces and Hauswirth
will reopen the Google form

a. None

a. Elections are coming up in April
VI. City of Ames Liaison Report
a. Reminder about open meeting laws
i. If there is anything that will be discussed during a meeting, email
Hauswirth to be added to the agenda
VII. Old Business
a. Ames Foundation Partnership update
i. Continuing to put up murals this spring
VIII. New Business
a. AAOSE Update
i. Have not heard any updates as of now
b. AMES (Accessible Map -Envisioning Sculptures)
i. The bus stops were miscounted when budgeting for the sculptures
last meeting
1. There are 8 (not 7) bus stops along the red route
2. PAC would send out a request for artists for artworks for up to 7
of the 8 shelters
ii. Motion to accept the call for artist proposal with changes to the
deadline to June 15th and a budget of $30,000 by
Kedrowski/Stromberg-Murphy. Unanimous.
c. Ames Lighted Path discussion
i. Proposed trail from Furman to Cytown/Stuart Smith Park
1. Could be a future Art in the Park project for part of the trail
2. Need input from the city for more information before moving
forward
IX. For the Good of the Order
a. Calendars will be added to the agenda for the February meeting
X. Motion to Adjourn at 1847 by Reutter/Merchant. Unanimous.
