AMES, IOWA JUNE 6, 2011
The Ames City Council met in special session at 12:00 Noon on the 6th day of June, 2011, in the City
Council Chambers in City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, pursuant to law with Mayor Campbell presiding.
Council Member Larson and ex officio Member Finseth were present. Since it was impractical for
all Council members to attend in person, Council Members Davis, Mahayni and Wacha were
brought in telephonically. Council Members Goodman and Orazem were absent. Mayor Campbell
conveyed that the Special Meeting was being held to accommodate the City’s customers who have a need
to begin work on projects prior to the Council’s next Regular Meeting of June 14, 2011.
PLAT OF SURVEY OF 2309 KNAPP STREET: Moved by Davis, seconded by Mahayni, to adopt
RESOLUTION NO. 11-261 approving the Plat of Survey for 2309 Knapp Street.
Roll Call Vote: 4-0. Resolution declared adopted unanimously, signed by the Mayor, and hereby
made a portion of these Minutes.
PLAT OF SURVEY FOR 311 ASH AVENUE: Moved by Wacha, seconded by Larson, to adopt
RESOLUTION NO. 11-262 approving the Plat of Survey for 311 Ash Avenue.
Roll Call Vote: 4-0. Resolution declared adopted unanimously, signed by the Mayor, and hereby
made a portion of these Minutes.
ADJOURNMENT: Moved by Davis to adjourn the meeting at 12:04 p.m.
