RESOLUTION APPROVING FY 2025/26 ASSET CONTRACTS
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, during its budget wrap-up process in February, the City Council
approved a total of $1,924,578 in available funds and the reserved $96,229 for continuous
improvement and housing; and,
WHEREAS, Partial or all funding recommendations for three agencies - NAMI,
HIRTA, and YSS - were recommended to be sequestered pending additional
conversations between the agencies and the ASSET Funder Staff. The contracts for
these agencies will be presented to the City Council at a later date; and,
WHEREAS, the following contracts were presented to the City Council for
approval:

WHEREAS, the City Council has allocated funds for human services activities
through the ASSET hearing process and the approval of the City’s FY 2025/26 Budget,
and the ASSET-funded organizations have signed and returned their contracts for
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that ASSET contracts for 22 agencies for FY 2025/26 totaling $1,572,932 are
hereby approved.
