Box 811, Ames, IA 50010 RESOLUTION NO. 24-606 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR 6196 EAST LINCOLN WAY FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS, application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a conveyance parcel per Section 23.307 of the Municipal Code; and, WHEREAS, the site is located at 09 Township: 83 Range: 23 SE NE along 590th Avenue, and the owner is Dale and Bonnie Knutson; and, WHEREAS, the real estate description is A PART OF THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 83 NORTH, RANGE 23 WEST OF THE 5TH P.M., STORY COUNTY, IOWA DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 9; THENCE SOUTH 07°51'52" EAST, 1329.89 FEET TO THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 9; THENCE SOUTH 89°59'26" WEST ALONG SAID SOUTH LINE, 182.07 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 9; THENCE NORTH 00°00'16" EAST ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 9, A DISTANCE OF 1317.41 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING AND CONTAINING 2.75 ACRES (119,928 S.F.); and, WHEREAS, a preliminary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been rendered by the Planning and Housing Department with no conditions; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Plat of Survey for 6196 East Lincoln Way is hereby approved.
