RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR THE PARK MAINTENANCE COMPLEX EXPANSION
FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 25th day of September, 2024, for the
Architectural and Engineering Services for the Park Maintenance Complex Expansion Project for
the Parks and Recreation Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully
analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
SVPA Architects, Inc., West Des Moines, Iowa for Architectural and Engineering
Services for the Park Maintenance Complex Expansion Project in an amount not -
to-exceed $50,200.
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contract for
and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 12th day of November, 2024.
