NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC: The Mayor and City Council welcome comments from the public
during discussion. If you wish to speak, please complete an orange card and hand it to the City
Clerk. When your name is called, please step to the microphone, state your name for the record,
and limit the time used to present your remarks in order that others may be given the opportunity
to speak. The normal process on any particular agenda item is that the motion is placed on the
floor, input is received from the audience, the Council is given an opportunity to comment on the
issue or respond to the audience concerns, and the vote is taken. On ordinances, there is time
provided for public input at the time of the first reading.

1. Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for FY
2022/23
CONSENT AGENDA: All items listed under the Consent Agenda will be enacted by one motion.
There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a request is made prior to the time the
Council members vote on the motion.

5. Motion setting the following Special City Council meeting dates:

6. Motion cancelling the Regular City Council Meeting on December 27, 2022, due to the holiday

8. Motion approving premise update for Class E Liquor License, Class C Beer Permit, and Class

12. Resolution approving reappointment of Council Member Amber Corrieri to the Ames
Economic Development Committee (AEDC)

and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) with her term effective January 1, 2023, and expiring December

Services for Combustion Turbine Controls Upgrade in the amount of $149,670
36. Resolution awarding contract to Atlas Copco Compressors LLC, Rock Hill, South Carolina,
for purchase replacement 72 Instrument Air Compressor in the amount of $85,365.67

37. Resolution awarding contract to Locality Media, Inc. of Garden City, New York, for Records
Management Software for the Fire Department in the amount not to exceed $168,850 over the

may do so at a future meeting. The Mayor and City Council welcome comments from the public;

may limit each speaker to three minutes.

Management Services, in the amount of $1,392,229
c. Resolution awarding contract to RDG Planning and Design of Des Moines, Iowa, for
