B. PAC voted to deaccession Dahlquist light features downtown, decision pending Council approval and
funding. Main Street group is aware. Also in consideration for deaccession are the Priscilla Sage
installations in the City Auditorium area.
C. Claire Kruesel has located a sculpture, a close resemblance to “Flo”, in a cordoned off courtyard near the
Gilman building on ISU campus. Contact to University Museums indicates this is not one of their pieces.
Claire will look further into this to see about reuniting the two sculptures. This item will move to the
active agenda.
D. Based on previous suggestion by Joseph Merchant about utilizing decommissioned fire hydrants for art
installation(s), Angie DeWaard discussed with Public Works, the Fire Chief, and Keith Abraham. All are
amendable to placing these hydrants in and around the Ames Dog Park and perhaps the animal shelter.
As the group was in favor of pursuing, Angie will provide a summary of this idea to Brian for review by the
City Council and move this item to the active agenda.

B. Museum quality lighting for Auditorium stairwell, location of Priscilla Sage fabric sculptures

notes, as well as work with Brian Phillips to locate missing Sage works missing from the Auditorium.
