1. Transformer Cabinet Mural Project Proposal (Sara Sherman) (10 min)
a. Identification of desired boxes for project and corresponding budget.
b. PAC approval to move forward with the selected vendor (Chase Graphics).
2. Storm Drain Intake Artwork (Sara Sherman) (10 min)
a. Sara has the call for artists sketched out, she and Liz have identified drains
b. Liz has website with parameters up at CityofAmes.org > Public Works > Storm
Drain Mural Art.
c. Date not yet set, next needs City Council approval.
3. Revamp/Revise Art in the Parks (Claire Kruesel) (10 min)
a. June 22 meeting will be held virtually
b. Claire meeting with Brian regarding overall plan

Reiman Gardens - July 2021 – registered, but need more volunteers
Octagon Art Festival - September 26, 2021
Chalk the Walk at the Octagon – September 26 during Octagon Art Festival
ii. Idea of creating 3D photos of our sculptures for public viewing (Taylor’s suggestion)
d. Collection Management (Co-Chairs: Angie DeWaard and open; Olivia Madison, Claire
Kruesel, and Karen George) (5 min)
i. The Bronsons (Arizona Circle) has been vandalized. Pieces are being retrieved and
damages assessed before we can contact the artist. Ames PD is involved.
ii. City Hall Art Placement/Signage – removal and installation (Olivia Madison)
iii. PAC Collection Management Database/System (Angie DeWaard and Paola Sepulveda)
iv. Balance – crack needs repaired, is under warranty. City owns next step.
v. Dahlquist Light features downtown (No action needed at this time)
vi. Glowforge Laser Cutter (Candace Zwank) (No action needed at this time)
