HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Approving Request to Modify FY 2024-25 ASSET Allocation to ChildServe RESOLUTION NO. 24-506 RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST TO MODIFY FY 2024/25 ASSET ALLOCATION TO CHILDSERVE FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA WHEREAS, ChildServe has submitted a request to the City to modify its FY 2024/25 ASSET allocation by transferring $6,600 that remains in the Day Care - Infant service to the Day Care - Children service; and, WHEREAS, the funding transfer is being requested due to higher than anticipated utilization of the Day Care - Children service and lower than anticipated utilization of the Day Care - Infant service; and, WHEREAS, ChildServe has not had any enrolled families in need of the Day Care - Infant service in this fiscal year, while it has already drawn down $7,478 of the $17,600 allocated to the Day Care - Children service. ChildServe expects to fully expend the funds approved for Day Care - Children by the City and from other ASSET funders by the end of the fiscal year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the request to modify FY 2024/25 ASSET allocation to ChildServe to transfer $6,600 from the Day Care - Infant service to the Day Care - Children service is hereby approved.
