RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. I
ON CONTRACT WITH
JB HOLLAND CONSTRUCTION INC, OF DECORAH,IOWA FOR THE
ASH POND CLOSURE AND RDF ASH POND RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a Change Order is necessary and proper on the
above Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $$417,344.79 to JB Holland Construction Inc, of
Decorah, IA,bringing the contract total to $3,023,437.94 (inclusive of sales tax) for the Ash Pond
Closure and RDF Ash Pond Reconstruction project be approved and adopted as attached hereto
and made a part hereof by this reference.
ADOPTED THIS 23rd day of July, 2024.
