RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR WATER
METERS AND RELATED ACCESSORIES SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR THE WATER
AND POLLUTION CONTROL DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were obtained for the Water Meters and Related
Accessories Supply Contract for the Water and Pollution Control Department,City of Ames,Iowa.
Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
Badger Meter of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to purchase water meters and related
accessories for the one-year period of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, in an
amount not to exceed $313,574.67.
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contract for
and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 1 Ith day of June, 2024.
