HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amended Rezoning Agreement for The Bluffs at Dankbar Farms RESOLUTION NO. 23-278 RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDED AGREEMENT OF REZONING FOR THE BLUFFS AT DANKBAR FARMS FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA WHEREAS, the City Council approved on December 13, 2022, a rezoning with Master Plan for a 105.62-acre site of which approximately 85.62 acres were zoned from Agricultural (A) to Suburban Residential Low Density(FS-RL)and to Suburban Residential Medium Density(FS- RM) with the remaining twenty acres maintaining its Agricultural (A) zoning designation. The Master Plan identifies areas to be zoned, the types of permitted development, and densities; and, WHEREAS, this Amendment affects a portion of the real property that was the subject of the Rezoning Agreement; specifically,the subject of this Amendment is the real property currently zoned F-S RL and a portion of the real property currently zoned F-S RM because of the original Rezoning Agreement; and, WHEREAS, the parties agree that the real property currently zoned F-S RL, and a portion of the real property zoned F-S RM, shall be rezoned to Floating Suburban-Planned Residence District (F-S PRD). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that resolution approving Amended Agreement of Rezoning of The Bluffs at Dankbar Farms to a PRD is hereby approved.
