The City of Ames Planning and Housing Department is pleased to assist where we can on this project. We find that the application and materials you submitted on August 7, 2017 are substantially complete to begin processing. I have been assigned as the staff planner on your request for a variance, and will review it for any needed clarifications or additional materials. I will contact you if there is any additional information needed for the application, prior to consideration of your request by the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA). Your request for a variance has been tentatively placed on the agenda for the August 23, 2017 ZBA meeting.
