Justin;
We write this from two perspectives: 1) The Developer of Quarry Estates, and 2) Neighbor (we
personally own a lot here where we will be building in the near future). On both accounts, we
fully support the applicant's request.
As the Developer, we review all plans for quality and appropriateness related to each building
lot. The applicant's home, and this particular request, are completely consistent with the best of
what we desire to see in our neighborhoods. We hope that the Zoning Board will view the code
as a guide....not an absolute...and allow minor changes that are tastefully done. In this case, the
applicant is asking to simply add lft of width to each of his 3 garage door openings...a total of 3 ft
of additional garage door width in total. Unless you specifically were told in advance, you would
almost surely not notice any difference in the outside appearance of this home. Finally, as a
neighbor, we are pleased to have this home being built on our street, and have viewed the

exterior plans to know that this home will be an attractive addition to our neighborhood. And
lastly, with the larger cars that are being built these days (and many people drive the newer
trucks and SUVS), getting into garages with a slightly larger opening only makes good sense.
Please approve the applicant's request.
