Dear Milagros:
Thank you for submitting the Special Use Permit (SUP) applications for the property located at
3505 S Duff Avenue. We find that the application and materials submitted on February 3, 2017 are
complete for review, in accordance with the Municipal Code.
The SUP application will be assigned to a staff planner, and routed to the Development Review
Committee (DRC) to discuss at the DRC staff meeting on Wednesday, February 22. 2017.
Preliminary comments will be sent to you that dax via email. If necessary, a follow-up meeting
will be scheduled with you (or your representative) to discuss any steps or revisions that may be
necessary in order for the project to comply with the Municipal Code and other applicable
requirements. This meeting is typically the Friday following the Wednesday DRC staff discussion,
and is tentatively set for Friday, February 24, 2017. You will be notified on February 22, 2017, if
you are invited to meet with the DRC on Friday.
At the Friday DRC meeting, we will also discuss the potential date for a hearing before the
Zoning Board of Adjustment(ZBA)for consideration of the Special Use Permit. Once the date of
the hearing is determined, notification of your application will be sent to surrounding property
owners within 200 feet, prior to the meeting. A sign will be posted on the property and notice
published in the newspaper.A copy of the ZBA's packet will be mailed to you on the Friday before
the ZBA meeting. You, or your representative, should plan to attend the ZBA meeting.
