The roof over the garage is a continuous slope of%" per foot from South to North, draining into rain gardens. By the time you get to the north edge of the array the parapet is 6" high. Depending on how I like the aesthetics, I may add a continuous white screen board to create a uniform horizontal element along the east edge instead of the scallop. This will be consistent architecturally with the white band of the canopy overhang. I may do something similar on the courtyard side north edge if we don't like looking at the back of the last row of panels from our kitchen window. The mockup is a little higher than the actual install and located at the highest (most visible) point on the roof. The matching elevation/perspective sketch shows the panels at about the average height above the parapet.
