RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION LINE CLEARANCE PROGRAM
FOR THE ELECTRIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS,bids and proposals were received on the 141h day of May,2022,for the Electric
Distribution Line Clearance Program for the Electric Services Department,City of Ames,Iowa. Said
bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
Wright Tree Service,of Des Moines,Iowa,for hourly rates and unit prices bid,in an
amount not to exceed$357,799,subject to receipt of the required Performance Bond
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contract for and
on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 14`h day of June, 2022.
