RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
WATER TREATMENT PLANT DEHUMIDIFICATION PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Water and Pollution Control Department has filed a certificate of
completion for the Water Treatment Plant Dehumidification Project for the City of Ames,Iowa, in
accordance with a contract dated January 12, 2021, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and
Mechanical Comfort, Inc., of Ames, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Water Treatment Plant Dehumidification Project has
been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and
is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $262,940.
Section 3. The amount due Mechanical Comfort,Inc.,of Ames,Iowa,is hereby ordered
paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
