Smart Choice Notice of Application Completeness and Acceptance May 5, 2015 Dawn Slining California Concept 137 Lynn Avenue Ames, IA 50014 RE: ZBA Case File 15-11 Dear Ms. Slining: Thank you for submitting the Special Home Occupation Application to establish a hair salon business in your home at 1603 Burnett Avenue. I have reviewed the application and materials you submitted on April 28, 2015, and have determined that the application is complete for the purpose of processing. Your request for a Special Home Occupation Permit will be placed on the May 27, 2015 agenda of the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA), and will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 515 Clark Avenue. This case will be assigned to a planner, who will determine what, if any, additional information is needed, prior to consideration by the ZBA. The case planner will prepare a report and a departmental recommendation to be included in the ZBA's packet of background material for the meeting. Notification of your application will be sent to the owners of property within 200 feet, approximately 12 days prior to the meeting. A sign, informing interested persons that a zoning action is pending for the property at 1603 Burnett Avenue , will be posted on site and notice will be published in the newspaper, approximately eight days prior to the ZBA meeting.
