RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE RAM 5500 TRUCK CHASSIS
WITH SAFETY STROBE LIGHTING
FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 3' day of February, 2022, for the
purchase of one RAM 5500 truck chassis with safety strobe lighting for the Public Works Operations
Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
To Stew Hansen Dodge RAM of Des Moines, Iowa, in the amount of$68,695
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contract for and
on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 22nd day of February, 2022.
