RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
STEAM TURBINE NO. 8 PARTS PROCUREMENT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Electric Services Department has filed a certificate of completion for the
Steam Turbine No. 8 Parts Procurement for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract
dated July 14, 2020, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and Alin Machining Company, Inc.
(Power Plant Services), of Melrose Park, Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Steam Turbine No. 8 Parts Procurement has been
fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and is
hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $147,244.65.
Section 3. The amount due Alin Machining Company, Inc., (Power Plant Services) of
Melrose Park, Illinois, is hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 8th day of February, 2022.
