HomeMy WebLinkAboutA5 CITY OF .p Ames Smart Choice Notice of Application Acceptance December 11, 2014 Haila Architecture Attn: Eric Vermeer 304 Main Street Ames, Iowa 50010 RE: 320 S. 171h Street- Special Use Permit Case #ZBA-14-32 Dear Eric: Thank you for submitting your Special Use Permit application for Harvest Vineyard Church at 320 S. 171h Street . We find that the application and materials you submitted on December 9, 2014 are acceptable for processing, but in order to complete our review in accordance with Ames Municipal Code Section 29.1502(3)(c),the following items are still needed: • Certification of the site plan documents by a licensed engineer, or architect; • A parking table should be included on the Site Plan indicating the uses of the building as well the number of code required and provided parking spaces on the site; • Elevations for the proposed new entry and canopy as identified on the Site Plan; • Information to determine compliance with the Outdoor Lighting Code, if new exterior lights are planned for the new entry. This item will be assigned to a staff Planner, routed to the Development Review Committee (DRC) to discuss at the DRC staff meeting on Wednesday, January7, 2015, per the date request of the applicant. Preliminary comments will be sent to you that day via email. If necessary, a following meeting will be scheduled with you (or your representative) to discuss further any steps or revisions that may be necessary in order for the project to comply with the Ames Municipal Code and other applicable requirements. This meeting is typically the Friday following the Wednesday DRC staff discussion, and is tentatively set for Friday, January 9, 2015. At that meeting we will also discuss the potential date for a hearing before the Zoning board of Adjustment. You will be notified on the Wednesday prior, if you are invited to a Friday meeting.
