RE: Special Use Permit for 1930 E. 13th Street
Dear Kurt:
Thank you for submitting the application for a Special Use Permit for Zylstra Harley Davidson
at 1930 E. 131h Street. The City of Ames Planning and Housing Department is pleased to assist
where we can on this project.
We have reviewed the materials you submitted on June 11, 2014 and have accepted the
application for review. This item will be forwarded to the Development Review Committee for
their comments on June 25. Those comments will be forwarded to you and we will offer a
meeting with you on June 27 to review those comments. The additional application for a Minor
Site Development Plan is not needed and will be discarded.
At that June 26 meeting, we will also discuss the timeframe for placing this on the agenda of the
Zoning Board of Adjustment. The Board meets the second and fourth Wednesday of every
month and the City Clerk's office will need sufficient time in order to place this on the agenda
and publish notice in the newspaper.
