HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Allowing Agencies, if they request, to Carry-Over FY 2020/21 Funding to FY2021/22 Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic RESOLUTION NO. 21-289 RESOLUTION ALLOWING AGENCIES, IF THEY REQUEST, TO CARRY-OVER FY 2020/21 FUNDING TO FY 2021/22 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA WHEREAS,during its February budget approval process,the City Council approved a total of$1,601,093 in ASSET allocations for the 2021/22 fiscal year; and, WHEREAS,the following contracts have a remaining balance as of May 18,2021 from FY 2020/21: ACCESS $ 13,113.41 All Aboard for Kids $ 2,714.00 ARC of Story County $ 1,317.73 Boys & Girls Club $ 24,513.96 Camp Fire USA $ 5,774.54 Center for Creative Justice $ 32.86 Central Iowa RSVP $ 13,441.73 ChildServe $ 1,067.20 Bridge Home (Emergency Residence Project) $ 25,778.76 Good Neighbor $ 3,037.78 Heartland Senior Services $101,932.00 Legal Aid Society $ 221.14 Lutheran Services in Iowa $ 5,700.00 MGMC Home Health Services $ 15,786.75 MICA $ 15,275.09 Raising Readers $ 1,412.47 The Salvation Army $ 5,875.65 University Community Childcare $ 19,965.12 Volunteer Center of Story County $ 7,650.00 Youth & Shelter Services $ 53,794.06 $318,404.35 WHEREAS, staff want to allow the agencies, if they request, to carry-over FY 2020/21 funding to FY 2021/22 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the aforementioned Human Services agencies may carry-over its FY 2020/21 funding to FY 2021/22, if they request, is hereby approved.
