RESOLUTION APPROVING RENEWAL OF CONTRACT FOR SCAFFOLDING AND
RELATED SERVICES & SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR ELECTRIC SERVICES
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS,on June 25,2019,the City Council awarded a contract to HTH Companies,Inc.,
of Union, Missouri, for Scaffolding and Related Services & Supply for the Electrical Services
Department; and,
WHEREAS,this contract contained the option for the City to renew in one-year increments
for up to four additional years; and,
WHEREAS,the bid from HTH Companies,Inc.,included increases of 2%per year for labor,
travel and subsistence, and for equipment and tools; and,
WHEREAS, this is the second renewal out of four maximum.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the contract renewal with HTH Companies, Inc., of Union, Missouri, for the Scaffolding and
Related Services&Supply Contract from July 1,2021,through June 30,2022, in an amount not to
exceed$53,000 is hereby approved.
