RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR FY 2021/22 PEBBLE LIME PURCHASE
FOR THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 15t1i day of April, 2021, for the FY
2021/22 Pebble Lime Purchase for the Water Treatment Plant Department,City of Ames,Iowa. Said
bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,as follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
Graymont Western Lime Inc., of West Bend, Wisconsin for the purchase of pebble
lime at $166.50 per ton for FY 2021/22
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said contract for and
on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 27`h day of April, 2021.
