Dear Board Members:
I would like to file a formal no vote on the proposal to grant a Special Home
Occupation Permit for the property located at 2507 White Oak Drive.
My objections to this proposal are as follows:
1. The added number of cars coming to this location will increase the number
of cars parked on the street.
Several homeowners in this area have more than one car and some have
as high as four.
The house directly across the street from the above residence is a multi-
generational home with several cars owned by the current occupants.
The house next to the multi-generational family home is owned by an
out-of-state landlord and usually has two or more college students living
in it. All of these folks own cars and this creates more on street parking
congestion for the rest of us.
2. This is a RL-Residential Low Density Zoned neighborhood.Why should we
allow someone to bend the zoning rules to suit his or her own needs and
disregard current zoning?
As far as I am concerned this is a waste of my time and yours. This proposal should
be rejected.
