ACCEPTING PLAT OF THE BLUFFS AT DANKBAR FARMS SECOND ADDITION,
AMES,STORY COUNTY,IOWA

i WHEREAS,there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,a plat
of real estate described as:
Outlot YY,The Bluffs at Dankbar Farms First Addition,Ames,Story County,Iowa
to be known as THE BLUFFS AT DANKB AR FARMS SECOND ADDITION,AMES,STORY
COUNTY,IOWA, and
WIiEREAS, the Department of Planning and Housing of the City of Ames, Iowa, has
recommended that the plat be approved,and
WHEREAS,the owner of said real estate,Friedrich Land Development Company,L.L.C.,
has executed a written Consent and Dedication declaring that the platting is with its free consent and
is in accordance with its desires as proprietor,and
WHEREAS,the owner of said real estate,Friedrich Land Development Company,L.L.C.,
has requested the temporary deferral of the requirement to construct and install sidewalks along
Cameron School Road from Erickson Avenue and east toward George Washington Carver Avenue,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,that the plat
should be accepted and approved,and that the deferral request with respect to the construction and
installation of sidewalks is granted.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Ames,Iowa,
that the plat of THE BLUFFS AT DANKBAR FARMS SECOND ADDITION,AMES,STORY
COUNTY,IOWA, be and it is hereby accepted and approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction and installation of sidewalks along
Cameron School Road from Erickson Avenue and east toward George Washington Carver Avenue
shall be deferred and said sidewalks shall be constructed and installed at the time of the platting of
the future addition to The Bluffs at Dankbar Farms,Ames,Story County,Iowa that is the final phase
of the development known as the Domani-Planned Residence District, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the dedication of Lot `A', Public Street (Erickson
Avenue and Erickson Lane), and Lot `B', Public Street (Cameron School Road), for public street
services be and the same are hereby accepted for and on behalf of the City of Ames,Iowa, and that
all of the acts of Friedrich Land Development Company,L.L.C.are hereby confirmed and approved
by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,on this 25 day of June ,2024.

ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND BOND ON
THE BLUFFS AT DANKBAR FARMS SECOND ADDITION,
AMES,STORY COUNTY,IOWA
Be it resolved by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with the
Certificate of the Municipal Engineer,the following public improvements required for approval of
the final plat of THE BLUFFS AT DANKBAR FARMS SECOND ADDITION,AMES,STORY
COUNTY,IOWA have been satisfactorily completed in accordance with approved construction
plans and the City Council accepts them as satisfactory and complete: sanitary sewer and storm
sewer,
The Agreement for Public Improvements secured by a letter of credit in the amount of
THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FOUR
DOLLARS and 02/100($378,134.02)is hereby authorized with respect to the balance of the public
improvements required for approval of the final plat of the aforementioned subdivision.
