FIRST AMENDMENT TO AMENDED AND RESTATED
DECLARATION OF COVENANTS, CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
OF IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY RESEARCH PARK
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT is made as of the / day of•=� , 2018, by Iowa
State University Research Park, an Iowa corporation, hereinafter referred to a "Declarant."
WHEREAS, the Amended and Restated Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and
Restrictions of Iowa State University Research Park was recorded on July 29, 2016 as Instrument
No. 2016-00007216 of the Story County, Iowa records (hereinafter referred to as the
"Declaration");
WHEREAS, Section 5.2 of said Declaration provides that the Declaration may be
amended from time to time by an instrument approved by the Board of Directors of Declarant;
and executed by the President of the corporation or by such other or additional officers or
directors of the corporation approved by Board; and
WHEREAS,the Declarant desires to amend the Declaration, as provided herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, Declarant hereby adopts the following amendment to the
Declaration:-
1. The legal description of the real estate covered by the Declaration shall be revised to be
that set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto, for the purpose of adding Outlot Z of Iowa
State University Research Park Phase III, First Addition to the real estate subject to and
bound by the terms of the Declaration.
2. Except as amended hereby, the terms of the Declaration shall be unchanged and in full
force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Declarant has caused this instrument to be executed as of
the date first above written.

2 Iowa State University Research Park First Addition, as shown on the Plat of Survey filed in the
office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa on July 15, 2003 and recorded as Instrument No.
03-14223 on Slide 174 at Page 1, and Lots 1 through 15 in Iowa State University Research Park
Third Addition, all now included in and forming a part of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa
AND
Lots 1 through 7, Outlot Y and Outlot Z in Iowa State University Research Park Phase III, First
Addition, and Lots 1 and Outlot B of Iowa State University Research Park Phase III, Second
Addition, an official plat, now included in and forming a part of the City of Ames, Story County,
Iowa, and lots in any further subdivisions of such Outlots.
