HomeMy WebLinkAboutA008 - Resolution No. 16-386 adopted June 28, 2016 s Prepared by and return to: Alex P.Galyon P.O.Box 1723,Ames,Iowa 50010 515-233-8850 CITY OF AMES, IOWA RESOLUTION NUMBER 16-386 ACCEPTING FINAL PLAT OF CRANE FARM SUBDIVISION, FIRST ADDITION, AMES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, a plat of real estate described as: A parcel of land in the Southwest Quarter (SW '/4) of Section Seven (7), Township Eighty-three (83) North, Range Twenty-four (24) West of the 5th P.M., Story County, Iowa, described as follows: Commencing at the West Quarter (W'/4) Corner of said Sec. 7, thence N 890331/4' E 110 feet on the North line of said Southwest Quarter (SW'/4) to the point of beginning, thence continuing N 89°33'/4 E 2,706.15 feet on said North line to the center of said Sec. Seven (7), thence S 00°143/4' W 1,424.35 feet on the East line of said Southwest Quarter (SW'/4) to a point 125 feet normally distant Northeasterly from the centerline of Relocated Primary Road No. U.S. 30, thence N 67°50'/4' W 2,910.45 feet parallel to said centerline, thence N 00°51'/z' W 305.3 feet to the point of beginning, containing 53.63 acres, more or less, except Parcel "A" a part of the Northwest Fractional Quarter (NWfrl'/4) of the Southwest Fractional Quarter (SWfrl'/4) of Section Seven (7), Township Eighty-three (83) North, Range Twenty-four (24) West of the 5th P.M., Story County, Iowa, as shown on the "Plat of Survey filed in the office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa on June 14, 2001, as Inst. No. 01-07642, Slide 98, Page 4. to be known as CRANE FARM SUBDIVISION, FIRST ADDITION, AMES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA, and t WHEREAS, the Department of Planning and Housing of the City of Ames, Iowa, has recommended that the plat be approved, and WHEREAS, the owner of said real estate, GW Land Holdings, LLC, an Iowa Limited Liability Company, together with Pinnacle Properties of Ames, LLC, an Iowa Limited Liability Company, as purchaser of a portion of the real estate being platted, have jointly executed a written Consent declaring that the platting in with its free consent and is in accordance with its desires as proprietor and purchaser, and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the plat should be approved and the dedicated land, if any, accepted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the plat of CRANE FARM SUBDIVISION, FIRST ADDITION, AMES, IOWA, be and it is hereby accepted and approved.
