The above-mentioned improvements have been inspected by the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department of the City of Ames, Iowa and found to meet City specifications and standards. As a result of this certification, it is recommended that the financial security for public improvements on file with the City for this subdivision be set at $23,169.50. The remaining work covered by this financial security includes the asphalt surfacing, street lighting, installation of a shared use path, and final utility fixture adjustments. According to Justin Clausen, Construction Supervisor, and Civil Engineer Eric Cowles, the amount of the LOC needed has been revised to $23,169.50. The erosion control is done; however, the shared use path is not in. Here is the summary: Asphalt Surfacing: $13,644.50 Final Utility Adjustment: 300.00 Street Lighting: 4,500.00 Shared Use Path: 4,725.00 TOTAL: $23,169.50 If possible, I would like to have a new LOC in that amount and I will return the one in the amount of $18,944.50. See attached Exhibit A. I believe you already an LOC in to Diane for SF 6 so you could either replace that one with the new amount or provide another LOC for the difference. -Charlie
