Subject: Deery Brothers Final Plat Brian: I have discussed the options with Steve for expediting the third passage and adoption of the Deery Bros. URA Ordinance, which would then facilitate the recording of all associated Deery Bros. ' development documents. He asked that a request to place third reading and adoption of the said Ordinance on the November 20 Workshop Agenda be made in writing to the Mayor and City Council. Direction to staff to place the item on that Agenda could conceivably be made during Council Comments at the Council's November 13 meeting. If you are willing to do so, please email me the letter -- including the details as to why the Ordinance needs to be approved prior to November 27 - and I will forward same to the Mayor and Council members in their Friday mail packets. Also, do you know the disposition of the $148, 000 special assessment to Family Realty for the Southeast Entryway Project? I assume that free and clear title would not be able to be given to the Deerys unless that had been paid.
