We have reviewed the storm sewer tapes and they are good to go and the sanitary corrections have been
made. So, you will not need to bond for the water main, storm or sanitary.
If you need anything else, let me know.
Thanks,
Eric

Eric,
I talked to the contractor yesterday and he told me that the repairs that needed to be made to the sanitary
sewer had been completed and retaped and that the storm tapes were turned in as well. Do you know
when you will be able to review the tapes? We are trying to get the final plat turned into the city and I don't
want to have to bond for those improvements if possible
Thanks,

Chuck,
Currently the only currently accepted piece of improvement is the water main. We are working with
Halbrook and to re-examine the tapes and correct the deficiencies discovered during the original review of
the sanitary tapes, but we have not yet received any tapes on the storm sewer. I don't believe the curb
and gutter and the asphalt base courses have been scheduled. I just wanted to give you a heads up on
the progress so far. We can work-up the amount for the security this week and get back to you.
Thanks,
Eric

As for Somerset 22nd, I will work with Eric this week and one of us will get back to you about the security

To all concerned.
We would like to submit the final plat for Somerset 22"d addition for the June 9m council meeting. I think
Brian Torresi has the documents he needs from the engineer however I need to know from the city what
improvements you consider to be complete and which ones I need to bond for.
I know that the electric, street lights, paving and erosion controls will need to be bonded for, however the
contractor(Halbrook Excavating)tells me that the water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer are all complete
and the city is in possession of the tapes for review. Can you please let me know what if any items are
remaining outstanding for the infrastructure or if there are items that need to be repaired or modified. I
always hold back final payment from the contractor until the city has assured me they are satisfied with the
improvements.
I believe that we need to have all of those things turned in by next Friday(May 15th) in order to be on the
agenda for June 9th.
I had also sent a request to you folks to have my letter of credit reduced at Walnut Ridge. I would like to
have that done if possible either on the May 26`h meeting or June 9`h if possible.
Please let me know if there is any problem staying on schedule for these dates.
Thanks

Chuck,
Thank you for providing a breakdown of costs for the Somerset 22nd letter of credit. As discussed earlier,
there is no need to file security for the utilities (water, sanitary, and storm sewer) since they have been
accepted by the City. I agree with the costs outlined below for your letter of credit.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Street lights and electric distribution $ 46,200
Erosion control (11 acres @ $500/acre) $ 5,500
Paving $3 -
Total $370,354
If someone from the city would please respond as soon as possible so that I know you agree with the
