ATTORNEY'S OPINION
I, LARRY R. CUR TIS, hereby state that I am an attorney at law, duly admitted to the practice of
law in the State of Iowa, and a member of the firm of Pasley and Singer Law Firm, L. L. P.,with offices
at 323 Sixth Street, Ames, Story County, Iowa. I further state that I have examined the abstract of title
to the following described real estate.
Outlot A, Grand Aspen Subdivision, Second Addition, Ames, Iowa;
from the date of the Root of Title thereof, down to and including the 29th day of May, 2009, as last
certified by Republic Abstract of Story County, Nevada, Iowa.
Based upon the information within said abstract of title, it is.my opinion that the fee simple title to
the property described above is in SCOTT E. RANDALL, a married person, and said.real estate is free
from encumbrances except for the following:
Mortgage to Community State Bank, NA, Ankeny, Iowa, dated May 11, 2005, and filed of record
on May 16, 2005 in the records of Story County, Iowa as Instrument No. 05-5318.
The property is subject to easements and restrictions of record and the general zoning
ordinances of County of Story, Iowa.
