WHEREAS, First National Bank, Ames, Iowa (the "Mortgagee") the present
owner of the following mortgages: (1) mortgage given by Dick Clem Commercial
Properties, L.L.C. to First National Bank, Ames, Iowa under date of January 3, 2000, and
filed in the office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa, on January 4, 2000, and
recorded as Instrument No. 00-00104, and (2) mortgage given by Richard C. Clem and
Geanna Clem, husband and wife, under date of September 2, 1997, and filed in the office
of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa on September 4, 1997, and recorded as Instrument
No. 97-09516, and therefore, Mortgagee has an interest in the real property described in
the consent to platting to which this Mortgagee's Consent to Platting is attached;
WHEREAS, the Mortgagee has been requested to consent to the platting of the
real property described in the attached subdivision plat to be known as SAFARI
SUBDIVISION, AMES, STORY COUNTY,IOWA and deems it advisable to do so;
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration:
1. CONSENT. The Mortgagee agrees and consents to the platting of the real
property described in the attached subdivision plat to be known as SAFARI
SUBDIVISION, AMES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Mortgagee has caused this instrument to be
executed on its behalf on this day of April, 2004.

and for said state, personally appeared TERRILL L. WYCOFF, to me personally known,
who being by me duly sworn did say that he is Executive Vice President of said
CORPORATION executing the foregoing instrument, that the seal affixed thereto is the
SEAL of said corporation; that said instrument was signed and sealed on behalf of said
corporation by authority of its Board of Directors; and that the said TERRILL L.
WYCOFF as such officer acknowledged the execution of said instrument to be the
voluntary act and deed of said corporation, by it by them volu ly executed.
