UTILITY EASEMENT
SOUTHFORK DEVELOPMENT, L.L.C., and Iowa Limited Liability Company,does hereby
grant unto the CITY OF AMES, IOWA, its successors and assigns, the following easements:
A. GENERAL UTILITY WATER MAINS AND STORM SEWERS. The perpetual right
to construct, reconstruct, maintain and use utility services,water mains, storm sewers, equipment
and apparatus upon,underground,over or across the following described portions of SOUTHFORK
SUBDIVISION, 2nd ADDITION, TO AMES, IOWA:

1 North 10 feet, and East 10 feet, and West 5 feet
2 thru 5 West 5 feet and East 10 feet
6 West 5 feet, South 10 feet, and East 10 feet
7 West 10 feet, Southerly 5 feet, and Northerly 10 feet

g Northerly 10 feet, East 10 feet,and Southwesterly 5 feet

The undersigned does further hereby grant to the CITY OF AMES, IOWA,the rightto permit
other utility companies to construct and,in the same manner,maintain their utility facilities,jointly or
severally, upon, underground, over or across the real estate described above.
B. Storm Sewer and Surface Drainage/Detention Cell Easement. Southfork Development,

L.L.C.further grants to the City of Ames,Iowa,the right to use the following described real estate,all
within Southfork Subdivision,Second Addition to Ames,Iowa,as part of its storm sewer and surface
drainage/detention cell system over, under and across
Lot No. Easement Area
g Easterly 15 feet
g Westerly 15 feet
10 Northwesterly 15 feet
12 East 15 feet
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the users of the granted rights
will assume liability for all damage to the real estate described herein and any adjacent real estate
caused by failure to use due care in the exercise of the granted rights.
