SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT
SCOTT E. RANDALL and JANE S. RANDALL, husband and wife, do hereby grant unto the
CITY OF AMES, IOWA, its successors and assigns, the following easement:
A. Sanitary Sewer Easement. The perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, maintain
and use a sanitary sewer upon, underground, over or across the following described portions of
Grand Aspen Subdivision, Second Addition, to Ames, Iowa:
Outlot Easement Area
1. Outlot A A parcel of land located across that part of Outlot A, Grand Aspen
Subdivision, 2"d Addition SW'/4 of the SW'/4 of Section 11, T83N,
R24W of the 5th P.M. in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa. Said
parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Outlot A; thence
S89°42'33"W, 6.00 feet; thence N00°33'08"W, 442.77 feet; thence
N89°26'52"E,6.00 feet;thence S00°33'08"E,442.80 feet to the Point
of Beginning.
2. Outlot B A parcel of land located across that part of Outlot B, Grand Aspen
Subdivision, 2"d Addition, SW'/4 of the SW'/4 of Section 11, T83N,
R24W of the 5th P.M. in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa. Said
parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of said Outlot B; thence
N00°33'08"W, 419.99 feet; thence N89°50'12"E, 4.00 feet; thence
S00033'08"E, 420.00 feet; thence N89043'03"W, 4.00 feet to the
Point of Beginning.
3. Outlot C A parcel of land located across that part of Outlot C, Grand Aspen
Subdivision, 2"d Addition SW'/4 of the SWIA of Section 11, T83N,
R24W of the 51h P.M. in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa. Said
parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of said Outlot C, also the
Northwest Corner of Outlot B, Grand Aspen Subdivision, 2nd

Addition; thence N00°33'08W, 22.81 feet; thence N89026'52"E,
406.70 feet; thence S00°00'00"E, 10.00 feet; thence S89°26'52"W,
402.60 feet; thence S00°33'08"E, 12.85 feet; thence S89050'12"W,
4.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the users of the granted
rights will assume liability for all damage to the real estate described herein and any adjacent real
estate caused by failure to use due care in the exercise of the granted rights.
